Spicy mushroom caps
- 1000 g button mushroom
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed
- 1 bunch spring onions or leek
- salt and pepper
Depending on the size of the mushrooms cook whole or halved in boiling salted water. Drain well.
Mix the sesame oil with the chilli sauce and toasted sesame seeds. Add the finely-chopped onion and then the mushrooms.
An excellent starter served with steamed rice, but also a lovely nibble for guests.
