Chicken leg with mushroom and sweet potato
- 500 g button mushroom
- 200 g shiitake
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 5-6 chicken legs
- 1 whole garlic
- fresh thyme
- salt and pepper
Peel and dice the raw sweet potatoes.
Put into the bottom of the dish with the quartered mushrooms.
Place the salted and peppered chicken legs on top with whole cloves of garlic. If the garlic is new, there is no need to peel it.
Sprinkle with thyme or rosemary according to taste. Both herbs are excellent with this dish.
Roast until tender in an oven at 200 °C for around 60 minutes. Squash or baking potatoes can replace the sweet potato.
