Pork steak in sweet paprika with mushrooms


  • 500-600 g button mushroom
  • 5-6 slices cutlets
  • 2 onions
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • oil, salt

Dice the onion and fry till soft. Salt the steak a little and cook briefly. Add 300 ml of water.

Keep topping up the water that evaporates and cook until the meat becomes tender (about 30-40 minutes). Meanwhile add the sweet paprika and the sliced mushrooms. If necessary, add 1 spoon of flour to thicken the sauce.

Serve with egg barley pasta (“tarhonya” in Hungarian) or with rice and sour cream.

Garnish with chopped parsley.
