Mushroom hot dog


  • 500–600 g oyster mushrooms
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 frankfurters
  • lettuce
  • ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise to taste
  • oil, salt and pepper

Cook the frankfurters according to taste: they can be boiled, fried in a pan, or roasted in the oven. Finely dice the oyster mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, then fry until crisp in a little oil and set to one side.

Slice the hot dog buns in half lengthwise and toast on both sides in the same pan, allowing them to absorb the fantastic mushroom flavour.

Fill the buns with the lettuce and frankfurters, top with the fried mushrooms, and serve with your favourite condiments.
